Pharaon researchers Macarena Espinilla Estévez and Javier Medina Quero from the University of Jaen will disseminate the experience in PharaOn in their next online course: “Ciencia de Datos y Machine Learning con aplicaciones”. The course is integrated in the International University of Andalucia and will be held in Spanish.

The purpose of this course is to bring students closer to the fundamentals of Data Science, as well as AI-based learning techniques (Machine Learning) to extract knowledge from data.  To do so, the course brings together experts both in the fundamentals and in the application of Data Sciences and Machine Learning in real environments. In addition to learning the theoretical-practical foundations of this discipline, the course will have applied sessions by experts in IoT (Internet of Things) and health, safety, recommendation systems for customization, as well as R&D.

This course is aimed at ICT (Information Technology and Communications) and Engineering Professionals, and Students of the engineering branch: Computer Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Telecommunications Engineering at Andalusian level and in particular at the from the province of Jaén, Granada and Córdoba. It will also be of interest to professionals from other sectors and areas of knowledge such as business administration, statistics, mathematics, marketing, etc. who have a basic technical knowledge of programming, mathematics and database management.
