Users of Cáritas Coimbra test the social network for older people

Pharaon partner Caritas Coimbra tested the SENTAB App, a social network designed for older people, again with its users on 21 and 22 December 2021. All safety protocols for the prevention of COVID-19 were followed by the research team. The system was tested again after the implementation of some changes was requested by users in the first phase of the pre-validation that took place in October. The objective of the pre-validation tests is to make a joint application, through the method of co-creation, in which the opinions and needs of older people are taken into account and are implemented in the technology by the technological partners of the project.
Users were very receptive to the Innovation Team and showed interest in collaborating, proving the innovative potential and social interactivity that the Pharaon project provides. The results were reported to the consortium, which will implement user feedback into the technology. This phase serves as preparation for the large scale pilot phase that will start in May 2022.
