Cáritas Coimbra participated as a speaker in the event “Destination: Horizon Europe – From Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe”, dedicated to the future of the Framework Programme for the period 2021-2027.  National Agency for Innovation (ANI) promoted the session, which took place at its premises, in Lisbon, on February 27th.

The main objective of the event was to convey to Civil Society Organizations how they can participate in the next Framework Programme. The clarifications came through Marisa Borges, from ANI and Alexandre Marques, from the FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. Participants were also able to hear the testimonies of Flávia Rodrigues, from Cáritas Coimbra and Maria João Vargas Moniz, from ISPA – Instituto Universitário, who brought to this initiative testimonies of the involvement of the organizations where they collaborate, about their participation in projects funded by H2020 .

Flávia Rodrigues contributed to the debate by sharing good practices and identifying obstacles and challenges in participating in Horizon 2020. Cáritas Coimbra has experience in this area, as confirmed by the speaker, to present the five projects that are currently being developed under the Horizon 2020 programme, namely SmartWork, Lifebots, PHArA-ON, VALUECARE and PlutformUptake.eu.
